I'm Giulia – a Product Manager with a unique background that blends product strategy, UX research, and hands-on design.
About me
I've always been fascinated by one question: Why do organisations keep making the same mistakes even when they have smart people, good intentions and more data than ever?
That question has shaped almost every step of my career. It led me from product management and user research to AI, organisational knowledge and, eventually, building my own products.
Over the past few years, I've worked across product strategy, UX design and user research, often wearing multiple hats. Working as both Product Manager and Designer taught me how to turn early ideas into clear, user-driven solutions, balancing business goals, customer needs and technical constraints. Today, I'm exploring how AI can support product discovery, research and decision-making.
My latest professional challenge has been understanding how AI can help organisations make better decisions—not by replacing people, but by helping them make better use of the knowledge they already own.
Today, I'm exploring that challenge from two different perspectives. Through SprintLab AI, I'm building a product that helps teams make better product decisions using AI and structured product thinking. Alongside SprintLab AI, I continue to experiment with human-AI collaboration and share what I learn through my projects and the articles published in Decision Lab.

My work experience
Product Manager at vonRoll Hydro, Zürich

I joined VonRoll Hydro to lead the redesign of INFRAPORT — a digital platform for sustainable infrastructure management used in over 20 countries.
Initially hired as a solo Product Manager with design responsibilities, I led the strategy, UX research, and early product iterations single-handedly. As the platform scaled, I actively contributed to forming the design team and later took on the role of design team lead while continuing to drive product direction and delivery.
Main achievements:
End-to-End Product Ownership
Drove the full product lifecycle from user research to launch and iteration, including a ~50% platform redesign that significantly improved usability and customer satisfaction across 22 countries.
International Research & Strategy
Led international, multilingual user research and in-depth competitor analysis with the design team, uncovering unmet needs that directly informed product strategy, feature prioritization, and UX improvements.
Stakeholder Alignment
Acted as the primary point of contact for global stakeholders, aligning user needs, business goals, and technical execution across departments
Agile Process Collaboration
Actively contributed to agile process improvements that enhanced collaboration between product and design, introduced lightweight frameworks, and improved team productivity and communication.
Workshop Facilitation
Led internal workshops across departments and countries, fostering better communication and motivating cross-functional collaboration
